BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal alleged that the Opposition parties wanted to stop the Lok Sabha from passing the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill 2025, because an online gambling firm paid ₹542 crore to the TMC, which it used to run the party. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha passed the bill by voice vote on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
