The two tax rates of 5% and 18% in the reformed GST structure will not include goods and services under "sin and demerit" category, reports stated. Department of Revenue has kept India's "social ethos" in mind, while tagging this category with a "special" rate of 40%. Online-gaming, pan masala, tobacco, cigarettes, luxury cars and SUVs will come under this category.
