Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told Parliament that Operation Sindoor against Pakistan was paused after "political and military objectives" were achieved. He said claims that it was paused under pressure are "baseless and absolutely wrong". He further said Pakistan admitted defeat on May 10 and contacted India's DGMO. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed he brokered the ceasefire.
