OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar said that the firm's deal with Microsoft will allow it to continue raising capital in a less complex manner. The deal will allow OpenAI to restructure itself into a public benefit corporation (PBC), with Microsoft acquiring a 27% stake in it. Friar added that OpenAI's intention to collaborate with governments globally could enhance US' soft power.
