OpenAI has dissolved its Superalignment team, which was meant to control future AI systems much smarter than humans. The team was co-led by Co-founder Ilya Sutskever and scientist Jan Leike, who have resigned recently. OpenAI will integrate the team more deeply across its research efforts rather than keeping it as a standalone entity, the startup told Bloomberg.
