OpenAI has projected a cash burn of up to $115 billion through 2029 to support AI behind ChatGPT, The Information reported. It plans to burn over $8 billion in 2025, some $1.5 billion higher than its previous projection. To control soaring costs, it'll seek to develop its own data centre server chips and facilities to power its technology.
