OpenAI is reportedly in talks with Reliance Industries and Indian data centres to bring its $500 billion supercomputing project, Stargate, to India. The discussions with companies like Sify Technologies and Yotta Data Services revolve around data centre capacity and power availability. Reportedly, the government requested OpenAI to invest "a few billion" in India and store Indian data locally.
