The United Kingdom Carrier Strike Group (CSG) and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer-carrier JS Kaga (DDH-184) will conduct joint F-35B operations in the Philippine Sea as part of Operation Highmast. The drills include cross-deck training and pilot familiarisation. HMS Prince of Wales carries UK F-35Bs and may host Japanese personnel.
