Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju blamed the Congress and other opposition parties for trying to escape the 16-hour discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha. "Ten minutes before the discussion was scheduled to begin, the opposition demanded a commitment to have a similar discussion on the Bihar SIR issue too," he said, terming the precondition unfair and deceptive.
