Several Opposition MPs, including Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, protested in Parliament against voter roll revision exercise in Bihar by tearing posters with ‘SIR’ (Special Intensive Revision) written on them. They also dumped the torn-off posters in a 'disposal bin'. The ECI said that it's undertaking the revision to safeguard the integrity of the voter lists.
