The Opposition I.N.D.I.A bloc is planning to move impeachment motion against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar amid allegations of "vote theft" against the EC, reports said. This development comes a day after Kumar gave a seven-day ultimatum to Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi to either furnish affidavit of his allegations or apologise. Notably, two-thirds majority is needed to remove CEC.
