India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Mumbai on Monday. This comes as rain continues to lash several areas of the city since Sunday. People were evacuated from Juhu beach due to incessant rains, NDTV reported. IMD has also issued an orange alert for Thane and Palghar on Monday.
