US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered 200 National Guard troops to be deployed in Oregon's Portland city after President Donald Trump's order. In response Oregon state has filed a lawsuit challenging Trump's order, accusing him of exceeding his power. Trump had said he's authorising use of full force if necessary to fight crime in Portland, which is a Democratic-run city.
