A 10-month-old child who lost her parents in flash floods triggered by cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, has been enrolled as a 'child of the state' under Chief Minister Sukh-Aashray Yojana. Under the scheme, Neetika will receive ₹4,000 per month from the government until she turns 27. For July and August, ₹8,000 has already been credited to her bank account.
