The Centre approved an allocation of ₹33081.82 crore to states and UTs for constructing and upgrading health infrastructure from FY 2021-22 to FY 2025-26 under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). The scheme has a total outlay of ₹64,180 crore for the same period. The infrastructure includes Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, public health units, and labs, among other structures.
