Over 1,000 Starbucks unionised baristas in over 40 US cities launched a strike, demanding for agreement to increase pay and staffing levels. The walkout will begin with 65 stores coinciding with Red Cup Day, which typically drives high customer visits, said Starbucks Workers United.
