As part of preparations for crowd management during the state's biggest festival, Durga Puja, West Bengal Police has announced that an additional 10,000 to 15,000 police personnel will be deployed. Not only during the Puja, but extra attention will also be paid to the post-Puja Carnival hosted by the state government, said ADG (Law and Order) Javed Shamim.
