More than 160 politicians have urged the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to boycott Champions Trophy 2025 match against Afghanistan as a stand against the Taliban regime's assault on women's rights. Afghanistan women's participation in cricket has effectively been outlawed since the Taliban's return to power in 2021. England are scheduled to face Afghanistan on February 26.
