According to district health officials, over 200 students from SRM University, Andhra Pradesh were treated for symptoms of food poisoning. The incident reportedly occurred on 3 November, when a large number of students staying in the university hostels complained of nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain after dinner. State Tourism Minister Minister Kandula Durgesh, reviewed the incident.
