Over 2,000 people, many low-wage workers and women, in Dhayari, Pune, were duped in a multi-crore fraud by jeweller Vishnu Dahiwal, who allegedly ran a Bhishi investment scheme. Debt-ridden and under pressure to repay, he staged a fake robbery using a toy gun to mislead customers. Dahiwal is now absconding, and victims demand police action and justice.
