Around 35.5 lakh names are set to be dropped from voters' list for Bihar elections as a result of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision, reports said. Of the 6.6 crore people who have submitted enumeration forms, around 12.5 lakh were reportedly found to have died. Around 17.5 lakh electors have migrated and around 5.5 lakh were registered twice, reports said.
