Over 50 people were detained after a plaque bearing Ashoka Emblem was vandalised at Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar. Officials said action will also be taken against women who vandalised the plaque but any minor found involved won't be proceeded against. Nobody has been formally arrested in the case. BJP said the incident is an attempt to revive terrorism in Kashmir.
