Union minister Sarbananda Sonowal said over 600 MoUs worth ₹12 lakh crore have been signed during the India Maritime Week 2025. These cover a wide range of areas from port development and indigenous shipbuilding to green shipping and port-led industrialisation. During the previous Maritime Summit, MoUs worth ₹8.5 lakh crore were signed, marking a major step toward sectoral collaboration.
