Pakistan has bestowed one of its highest state honours, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), on US Central Command (CENTCOM) chief General Michael Kurilla. Kurilla was conferred the honour in a high-profile ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad for his role in promoting regional peace and enhancing US-Pakistan military ties. This comes after Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar's recent US visit.
