Pakistan's army chief, Asim Munir, claimed that the country has a "rare earth treasure" which will help Pakistan reduce its debt. "Pakistan will soon be counted among the most prosperous societies," Munir said in an interview with Daily Jang. The report also claimed Munir had laid out a roadmap to explore "untapped potential" in Pakistan's mineral sector.
