Brenden Valentine Crasto, a Roman Catholic from Pakistan residing in Goa's Anjuna, expressed gratitude for receiving his Indian citizenship certificate under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, after a 19-year-old long wait. He is the third Pakistani in Goa to obtain citizenship, receiving the certificate from Chief Minister Pramod Sawant in Porvorim.
