While addressing the Lok Sabha, PM Narendra Modi said that Pakistan DGMO "pleaded" for a ceasefire with the Indian counterpart after India launched Operation Sindoor. "[Pakistan DGMO said,] 'Bas karo, bohot mara. Abb zada maar jhelne ki takat nai hai (Please stop, you have beaten us enough. We can not handle any more beating),'" he added.
