Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the Indian Navy, saying, "When the Navy came into action in 1971, Pakistan was divided into two parts (Pakistan and Bangladesh)." He added, "If the Navy had come into action in Operation Sindoor, then Pakistan would have been split into not two but four parts." Singh further said whatever happened so far was mere "warmup".
