Pakistan army chief Asim Munir visited the flood-hit Kartarpur Sahib corridor near the India-Pakistan border to assess damage and ongoing relief efforts. He assured the Sikh community that all affected religious sites, including Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, which was submerged in 10-12 feet water, would be fully restored. Restoration work has begun, with the shrine expected to reopen for pilgrims soon.
