Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif had sought Russian President Vladimir Putin's assistance in resolving the conflict with India after Operation Sindoor, Russian state news agency TASS reported, quoting a senior Pakistani official. "Neighbours cannot live in a situation where war could start at any minute," the official, identified as Syed Tariq Fatemi, said. India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7.
