The Indian Army has foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. This reportedly led to exchange of fire with terrorists who also had Pakistani army's support. Meanwhile, Chinar Corps said Havildar Ankit Kumar made supreme sacrifice, stating, "He laid down his life while undertaking operational duty along LoC in Uri."
