Pakistan wicketkeeper Muhammad Haris accidentally hit umpire Ruchira Palliyaguruge with the ball while throwing it towards the bowler during UAE's innings in their Asia Cup 2025 match in Dubai. Ruchira was attended to by the Pakistan physio. He then left the field as precautionary measure and was replaced by reserve umpire Gazi Sohel.
