A private investigation led by UK MP Rupert Lowe found that "rape gangs" comprising men of Pakistani origin were responsible for children's sexual exploitation in 85 areas of UK. Lowe had launched 'Rape Gang Inquiry', which was instituted before UK PM Keir Starmer in June. Survivors told the inquiry that they were groomed as children and drugged, raped and trafficked.
