A 65-year-old Pakistani woman who escaped from a Nepal prison was arrested in Tripura’s Sabroom while allegedly trying to cross into Bangladesh. Identified as Louis Nighat Akhtar Bhano, she was jailed in Nepal in 2014 for drug trafficking. Police are verifying her route and background after detaining her at Sabroom railway station.
