Palasaur kites from Tarn Taran are now sold not only across Punjab but also in states like Jammu and Kashmir, supporting over 150 village families. Manpreet Kaur, a local kite-maker, says traders supply raw materials to homes and collect finished stock. She produces kites priced from ₹5 to ₹400, with higher-end varieties gaining strong demand in major cities.
