Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said bringing an impeachment motion is a matter of MPs and government isn't in the picture. Meghwal stated Parliament has the power to remove a Supreme Court or High Court judge. The government is pushing for a motion to remove Justice Yashwant Varma in Monsoon session. Justice Varma has challenged his impeachment in Supreme Court.
