Many stretches of Chandigarh-Manali highway between Kullu and Manali were washed away, and restaurants were damaged amid rains on intervening night of August 25-26 in Himachal Pradesh. The highway stretch at Bindu Dhank near Manali has completely disappeared. The Manali-Leh road has also been blocked as flooded Beas river has swept away portion of highway at Vashisht Chowk near Manali.
