A Philadelphia-Phoenix American Airlines flight was forced to make emergency landing on Saturday after a passenger's electronic device caught fire mid-air. The flight was diverted to Washington's Dulles International Airport. Several passengers reportedly began coughing after cabin was filled with smoke. The device was contained by crew before the plane landed safely, American Airlines said.
