A video shows passengers boarding a different flight at the Ahmedabad airport witnessing the thick smoke billowing from the crash site of the Air India AI-171 flight. A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft crashed and hit the hostel of BJ Medical College minutes after taking off at 1:38 pm. The passengers can be seen perplexed at the sight of the smoke.
