A 25-year-old man died at Kanpur Dehat Medical College after being left unattended for 11 hours. Brought in critical condition, the patient received no follow-up treatment. After his death, the body remained in the ward overnight, causing a foul smell that alarmed other patients. An inquiry has been ordered by the district administration.
