Shishir Kumar, the son of Patna Mayor Sita Sahu, allegedly absconded after the police charged him with 'assault' and 'interference with government business'. Kumar, who is not a part of the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), physically assaulted councillors who opposed his mother's proposal to clear some "contentious" projects during a meeting. Kumar has a prior criminal record, said the police.
