A new study found that children and adults reporting weekly nightmares were three times as likely to die prematurely (before age 70) compared to those who rarely experience nightmares. It also found that more frequent nightmares indicated faster biological ageing. Weekly nightmares are stronger predictor of premature death than smoking, obesity, poor diet and low physical activity, the study said.
