CM Conrad Sangma reacted to the ongoing case involving Sonam Raghuvanshi, a newlywed woman accused of killing her husband during their honeymoon in Meghalaya. "People tried to blame…government and police (in the matter)…(Those) who have been painting Northeast and Meghalaya in a bad light should apologise," he said. "I can assure you that Meghalaya is a safe place," he added.
