Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Wednesday claimed that per capita income in the state has surpassed the national average. He also said it has even "surpassed the growth of the last AIADMK regime by two times". "In the final year of the previous administration, 2020-21, state's per capita income was only ₹1.43 lakh," state Finance Minister Thangam Thenarasu said.
