Perplexity has made an all-cash offer to purchase Google's Chrome browser for $34.5 billion (approximately ₹3.02 lakh crore) in an unsolicited bid. The three-year-old AI startup, last valued at $14 billion, has said that several investors have agreed to back the deal, Reuters and CNBC reported. In March, the US Department of Justice had demanded that Google sell Chrome.
