The "fine-grained" data collected by GPS can reveal more than just a person's location, an IIT-Delhi study has said. The study said that AndroCon, a system to demonstrate data already accessible to Android apps, can act as a sensor. AndroCon interprets GPS parameters and can reveal whether a person is sitting, standing, lying down, is in a flight or park.
