Pune-based olee.space raised $3 million in seed funding to develop quantum-encrypted laser communication and directed energy weapons. Founded by IIT Bombay’s James Solomon and engineer Suman Hiremath, the startup builds Free-Space Optical Communication and anti-drone tech to enhance India’s defence, satellite, and strategic communication systems with secure, high-speed links.
