A bill for 2,500 bricks at a cost of ₹1.25 lakh was approved by a gram panchayat in MP's Shahdol for the construction of the boundary wall of an anganwadi building. A photo of the bill, which surfaced online, shows the signatures of the sarpanch and secretary of the village. The Shahdol district administration ordered a probe into the matter.
