The tallest hotel in Nepal's Kathmandu has been reduced to a charred building after violent anti-government protests. The Hilton hotel, which was opened in July 2024, was set on fire on Tuesday by 'Gen-Z protesters' and it continued to burn for two consecutive days. Visuals have surfaced online showing plumes of smoke still billowing from the building.
