The rare Blood Moon total lunar eclipse was visible in several parts of the world on the intervening night of September 7 and 8. The totality phase of the eclipse lasted 82 minutes, making it one of the longest total lunar eclipses of the decade. Pictures of Blood Moon from countries such as China, Russia, Egypt and India surfaced online.
